An emigrant – a nomad by her own choice or sentenced by fate?
Many Poles go abroad every year in search of a better life or at least a better income. They leave their families, promising themselves that the trip is only for a while. But days quickly turn into months and months into years.
The book Wot.4 is a colorful story about a Polish immigrant who, attracted by better earnings, decides to go to England. Full of anxiety, she arrives in a foreign country, where she will have many adventures and even more moves. Together with the reader, she learns to live in a new reality, wades through language schools and fights against stereotypical opinions about Poles.
Equally interesting are the stories of other emigrants and the English, who intertwine with the story of the main character in a dense network. Here we find love stories and human drama, all surrounded by fog.
